Sudoku Who We Are
Sudoku Online Puzzles is made by Brian Hamilton and Karan Hamilton. We are puzzle lovers, strategy-game players, card-game players, and brain-training fans: the kind of people who enjoy anything that gets the grey matter firing.
Between us, we have written for and designed games for multiple sites, and we have also made puzzle game apps. That background shapes the way we build here: the puzzles need to be clear, fair, and enjoyable for real players.

Why We Built This Site
The site started from a very human place: we are grandparents. We wanted our grandkids to experience the puzzles and pen-and-paper games we loved when we were young, but in a format that feels natural on modern phones, tablets, and computers.
That changed the way we think about each puzzle page. It should be easy to start, clear enough for beginners, interesting enough for experienced solvers, and calm enough that a family can actually enjoy it together.
What We Publish
The site is built around useful Sudoku pages rather than a login system or paid app. You can play standard 9x9 Sudoku, try variants such as Killer Sudoku and Jigsaw Sudoku, generate printable puzzles, check grids with solver tools, and read guides about solving strategies.
We aim to make each page useful on its own: playable boards should work clearly, tools should explain what they do, and articles should help you make a real solving decision at the board.
Editorial Standards
Our guides are written and reviewed from a player's point of view. We focus on clear rules, concrete examples, practical solving advice, and plain explanations for people who want to improve.
When we publish a strategy guide, glossary, or puzzle explanation, we try to avoid filler and keep the page useful for actual solving. If a topic needs a diagram, worked example, or link to a playable tool, we add it where possible.

Puzzle and Tool Quality
Sudoku tools and puzzle pages are tested in the browser as we build and maintain them. For generated puzzles and solvers, we check behaviour such as grid input, puzzle rules, solving output, difficulty labels, saved progress, and printable layout where applicable.
